Good Afternoon and I am hoping someone can help me because the embassy is closed for the weekend. We went to our interview and it went very differently than others have experienced. 1. they let my fiance leave the interview 3 times to retrieve documents during the interview. 2. they interviewed both parties in Mexico City. They asked for one additional item which is a certified original or a divorce decree. I am supposed to upload this to a website that was listed on the instructions that is so faint I can hardly read it, as best as I can after expanding it and having 10 people look at it... is this website https://ais.usvisa.info.com/en-ins.iv However it does not exist. Does anyone have the website for this process I was asked to complete. I have been without my fiance for almost four years and this is the final document they need thank you in advance!

Good Evening, so we have our appointment to bring documents the day before the actual appointment. Can I go to that appointment (document drop off) with my fiance? I have heard he goes alone for the interview but I have no heard any comments about the dropping off document process. I have read several people generously share the tip to avoid all electronic devices on the day of the appointment because they are prohibited, but can I have them with me (cell phone) when we drop off documents. Any experience you have had and are willing to share is big time appreciated. Also, what did you do while your fiance was in the interview? Is there a Starbucks or a cafe that would let me stay there endlessly (of course I will spend and tip the heck out of the staff) thank you so much

Hello - My wife entered the US on a K-1 visa and now we are filing her Form I-485. She is the owner of a business in her home county but is it okay to put in Form I-485 that she is still currently the owner of this business? Or will USCIS have a problem with any employment that my wife has during the period from entering the US and until she receives her green card? Thank you!

Wanted to share my experience requesting a US passport for the first time. I requested my passport first days of september and received it the last week of september, so overall it took a little over 3 weeks to receive it, no need to expedite. No need to spend more money right now expediting (IMO) That was my experience, i'm not saying it will apply to everybody but as far as im concerned, it was pretty quick.

Well, like everyone else its been quite a wait on this process, but we finally have an appointment. We were having trouble paying fees online, but a week after giving us the date of the appointment, we received a notification that we had 72 hours to walk into a bank in Mexico and provide an account number and a pin number to pay the 260. or they would cancel the appointment. We received it on a wed. and the money had to be paid 2 days before the due date, giving us exactly 24 hours to pay. Its paid, but just wow on the urgency. My fiance and I have been apart for over 3 years, due to covid I have only been able to go there and visit one time. I was planning on being there for the visa appointment, waiting outside so we could celebrate and possibly go the the beach and just be so happy the process is complete. However, I cannot get off work due to other coworkers out with medical issues. So, (sigh) I just have to wait here. My question is to anyone that has gone through the visa process in Mexico City, how long did you wait to get the physical Visa so you could exit the country and be with your honey? Thank you
