US Immigration from Mexico

Hi.

I'm kinda lost here. So I have been a legal resident for 3 years and happily married with a US Citizen for 3 years as well. I believe I can apply now to become a citizen. I received a NOA saying my current removal of conditions is pending and have the 18 months extension.

Is it safe to apply for Citizenship now or do I need to wait until I have my conditions removed?

Any word of advice would be great.

I'm hoping that someone has had any similar experiences that can provide some advise.

I submitted AOS for both my parents in July. I prepared each of their cases individually, sealed each of them in a separate USPS envelope, and placed both envelopes in one USPS priority mail box. I followed these instructions based on advise seen here and other adjustment of status-related websites. These sites indicate that you can mail multiple applications in the same container as long as they're clearly separated (either by rubber bands, envelopes, etc).

The package was received by USCIS on July 16. On August 5, my dad received a package from USCIS with his forms, along with a rejection notice (the payment through the credit card didn't go through). It is clear that we have to resubmit my dad's paperwork. However, I have received no update on my mom's documents. To this day, there has been no bank withdrawal for my mom's package, and no rejection notice. I spoke to USCIS and was informed that it was just a waiting game to see if my mom's package will be accepted or rejected.

I'm honestly a bit confused as to why one package was rejected so quickly and the other has seen no update. Is it normal for two packages to be sent in the same container to take different lengths of time to be accepted/rejected?

In your opinion, should I go ahead and send my father's package immediatelly while we wait for my mothers? I"m honestly just worried that maybe my mom's package was completely lost and we're waiting in vain.

My Mexican fianc e in Mexico has 2 dogs and 2 cats. She treats them like her kids. The question is how she can bring her animals to the US with her? Anyone has this kind of experience from Mexico ?

Hello, I have a question about my extension letter.. I know it expires 18 months but is it 18 months from green card expiration or 18 months from the date I filed to remove the conditions? Please help

If sending an application packet to the Chicago Lockbox, I would consider using any carrier other than the US Postal Service. We shipped ours last Friday, August 7th by priority mail (overnight not available for some reason) and it still shows the below message.

"Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility.

In Transit, Arriving Late"

It was supposed to arrive on Tuesday. we are beyond upset and nervous.

I hope it is not lost.
