Hello friends, my wife and I have our interview to remove the conditions on her green card tomorrow in Los Angeles California. Is there anyone with experience that can guide me on what to expect? Thank you in advance

I had a friend who boyfriend came over here on a tourist visa. They ended up getting married and he end up staying. Because if he was to have went back to his country he would have got stuck over there. So he just stayed here and she filed her I-130 and the AOS at the same time and he was able to get his social security card, green card, and a travel permit.

I nees help! If my boyfriednd came in february with a tourist visa, didn leave before the 6 month permit, instead we got married on November. Is he in trouble? Can I file the I-130 and I-485 and send them together?

So my husband submitted his ROC, but his green card expired and we are still waiting for the extension letter. What happens if a cop asks to see ID (he travels on public transport in the city and there are cops doing checks, as recent as last night) What does he tell them? His Drivers License expired the same date as the green card and needs the extension letter to get that as well. He is REALLY frustrated with this process and the fact USCIS makes little effort to give updates.

Hello all! We are pleased to let you know that our journey through the AOS process has finally come to an end (almost, need to remove conditional status in two years).

Our AOS package was received on June 9th, 2020. After almost 45 days, we received notice that my wife's application had been accepted but not her two kids due to an oversight on our part. We forgot to include a separate 864 per person.

We resubmitted for the kids and were accepted on August 14 but they rejected their I-765 apparently for lack of a proper fee which was wrong as the new fee schedule was not in effect until October, I believe.

Biometrics were done on October 23rd and my wife's interview was scheduled on November 17th for December 29th.

The interview went well. They didn't even talk to me or the kids. They just talked to my wife and after 30 minutes the agent told her she was approved. Today we received an update on USCIS online that the cards were being produced.

All in all, it took a little over 6 months from start to finish. We are beyond happy. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice we were treated at the USCIS facility and the interviewing agent.

I must say that this process has been one of the most stressful things I have ever done. My wife feels the same. It was totally worth it. We are already planning a trip as soon as we get the cards in the mail.
