CEAC asked for W-2 but we only have W-7... don't know what to do!

Hi everyone!

So we just submitted all our documents to the CEAC, (affidavid of support and all that). They were all accepted but I got a message saying:

"Please submit every Form W-2/1099 on (petitioner) submitted tax transcript or tax return."

My husband (US citizen) filed his taxes from 2019 as married with me, but we didn't file a W-2 because we filed a W-7 form instead, so that I would get an ITIN. We submitted the form W-7 with our documents, and it was accepted... Should we have filed a W-2 with the W-7 initially? Can we file a 2019 W-2 now?

I don't know what to do now. If anyone has had this problem before or has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much!

Katia

Hello and thank you for any advice of my situation.

I have been a US citizen for 4 years now.

I would like to start filing to petition my husband who is undocumented here in the US, he has been here 20 years illegally. He said has 2 entries where the USCIS took his fingerprints. I have made the decision to move back to Mexico with him but we would like to know if there is any possible small line of faith that we could fix his immigrant status here in the US. I have been thinking that Biden may change the laws and remove the law and he could fix his situation. I know he will have to pay for getting the FOIA requests but I am wondering if anybody in this forum have tried until the last resource and have had success with a case like this.

Hi:

So I can see from Fedex that my I-129F app was received this past Wednesday, but I have not received an email as requested on the form G-1145 that I included with the app. Anyone know how long it generally takes from the lockbox facility signing for the "package" to getting an email?

Thanks!

Hello all. I want to petition for my father. I am looking at petition I-130 to do that but that one says for parents that live outside the US. My father is, has been in the US for many years without inspection. Is this still the correct petition form?

Long story short: He migrated to US around 1994. He had altercation with mom and police was involved. He pled guilty to spousal battery, misdemeanor. While in county jail, he was picked up by ICE and deported without going in front of judge. He remembers signing something with ICE, probably deportation agreement, but he did not know exactly what it was. He came back without inspection again. 25 years or so later, here we are. We have consulted with attorney/s. The plan has been for me to petition for him and submit waivers of inadmissibility. My grandfather, his dad, is 90 years old and here in the US, along with all his family. Any ideas, suggestions, comments appreciated. Just cannot afford attorney fees. Thanks!

Applying for I-485 after I-94 expired

Hi!

So I am getting worried because based on countless research I had done, I had the belief that once my fiance got here on a K1 visa, we had 90 days to get married and then we could apply for her adjustment at our earliest convivence. However, upon more research, it does not look like this is the case at all. We got married the same week she arrived in the U.S. but I have not filed her AOS yet. Due to Covid and her pregnancy, its been a bit of a struggle to get the $1225 for the filing and biometrics fee. However, her I-94 expired 12 Dec 2021. I know I can save up enough to file her AOS in Feb, but I just don't want any possibility of her having to return home, especially since she is due within 2 months. Will there be any problem when filing her I-485?
