Tax return rejected due to spouse new SSN

My wife just got her green card approved recently and her SSN came in the mail yesterday, with the issue date being Feb 6th (just over a week ago). I filled our taxes but it was rejected due to her SSN. Could it be because the government's systems haven't updated with her SSN? If so, how long should I wait? Maybe try submitting again? I have to submit my tax return asap due for a variety of reasons.

What is the "Aramex/courier confirmation page", and do we need it for our interview?

Hey all, we've received our interview letter, but it requests some stuff we don't have-- and don't even know how to get.

Mainly, it asks for an "Aramex (courier) document delivery confirmation page", which we don't have. We've filled out the DS-160 and have the confirmation page, and we have everything filled out in usvisascheduling (we've been waiting at the "No Slots Available" for a couple weeks now).

That being said, we only just realized that we don't have the 'courier confirmation page', whatever that is. In the videos and guides we've looked up for K-1 visas, no one has ever mentioned them.

What is the courier confirmation page for? Do we even need it?

Any advice would be great, thank you.

Do We Need an Interview Letter or Not?

My fiancee and I are applying through the embassy in Malaysia I know it s different for every embassy, but I figured I d ask here since we had such a confusing experience and I m hoping for a general answer.

We ve seen on multiple websites that it depends on your embassy whether you need a Welcome Letter or if you can just schedule once the CEAC status is ready. We tried to go ahead and schedule at Ready (to see if it d even let us) and were met with the dreaded No Slots Available. After trying and failing for almost a week, and not receiving an interview letter/welcome letter that whole time, we called the embassy.

The woman on the phone said that we didn t need to wait for a welcome letter, we could go ahead and apply, and if it said No Slots Available to just keep trying. We asked whether the welcome letter would show up in physical mail or email, even if we don t need it, and she said we wouldn t be receiving one at all so don t expect one.

Well another 4-5 days pass with no slots open still, so we call the embassy again to double check if we really won t receive a welcome letter, and how long we should expect to wait for a slot to open. This other person says we WILL get a letter, and that s why we can t schedule an appointment yet we ll need the letter first. The letter will arrive by email and should come within 2 weeks of the Ready status.

Now we don t know what to believe. Has anyone had a similar experience? Especially with the US Consulate in Malaysia, but anywhere else too?

Main question is if the No Slots Available can be at fault of us not having a welcome letter, but just generally about the experience too.

Thanks for the help in advance!!

I don't know what to do. We married on March 17th and had it recorded on March 18th. Here visa says its vaild until the 23rd. We just got a letter saying we did not marry within 90 days. Did we do something wrong? Did they do something wrong? I'm very worried. We submitted a copy of the married certificate with the i-485 form. Did they read the dates wrong?

The fee for I-485 applications includes the cost of the I-131 and I-765 (no need to pay for them if filed with or while your I-485 application is pending adjudication)

Is this still accurate? Doesn't appear to be so

"If you filed Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, with a fee on or after April 1, 2024, and your Form I-485 is still pending. $260"
