US Immigration from Macedonia

Hi everyone,

My husband got the 221g refusal letter and they needed him to provide additional documents about proof of domicile and we sent in the documents on june 7th.

I am opening CEAC now and it says: case last updated: june 17th and also refused

Does this mean that the case is refused again or that it s still in processing because they haven t called us yet.

I need some help in figuring it out about the removal of condition process if someone is willing to explain to me please.

I am about to fill up the form i-751 and my son received his green card trough my marriage on the same day as me.

When sending the envelope do i need to fill separate i-751 form for my son too?

Or just answer his name in the section about children and check the box that he is applying with me too?

I was living abroad for 10+ years and that s where I met my husband and we wanted to come back to the US. He got denied at the consular interview because I didn t provide enough proof of domicile.

I am in the US right now and I got the following documents:

- Lease agreement for an apartment

- Bank statement with my new address and a credit card

- State ID and Voter Card

- Phone plan

- Transfer of money from my bank abroad to my new account here

Is this enough for my husband to send to the Embassy?
How important is having a job? Can they deny him because I don t have a job right now? I am not working right now because I am studying in order to get my license to work in my field.

Hi All

Now that my husband is a citizen we are working to bring his nieces over from Macedonia. The oldest is 16yrs and wants to come and study, perhaps finish high school and then study pharmacy. I am not exactly sure where to start. Any ideas? Thanks os much.

Hello everyone! I need some help if there s anyone here with the same problem as me.

I am a US citizen, but I have been living abroad for 15 years and went back in 2013 for a wedding and 2017 to take some exams because I was planning on moving back. I got married here and we want to go and live in the States together. I know I had to prove domicile or intent which was hard for me to do because I was a kid when I lived in the US.

As proof I provided:

- A bank statement of an account I opened up in 2017

- Voting record that I voted in 2020 from abroad

- Certificate that in 2017 I passed an exam that recognizes my university diploma from abroad

- Proof that I quit my job here, bought a book from the States and committed myself on studying for a licensure exam that I am going to take when I move to the States with my husband

All of this was approved by NVC and my husband got an interview in the US Embassy and at the interview he was denied because there wasn t enough proof of domicile.

My question is:

- Which additional documents should I submit to the Embassy?

- And if I do have to go back to the States to obtain this, can I come back here if he gets approved, so we can leave the country together?
