  1. Thanks! It was ready-administrative processing-issued, but it was all done very fast to be honest...couple of days The issued to getting a call to pick up the passport (which I am still waiting for) is the one that's the longest hahah
  2. My status changed to issued on june 30th, but I still haven’t gotten a call about the visa and it’s been 12 days…I am thinking about writing an email to the Embassy…
  3. Hello everyone, Almost three weeks ago, my husband sent additional documents to the Embassy proving my domicile as a US citizen (he got a 221g refusal at the interview) We sent: 1 year lease agreement, bank account, wire transfer of money, state ID and voter card. I have lived in Macedonia for 15 years and been to the US a few times, but not enough to have domicile. I am in the US now and got all the above mentioned documents. I would like to go back to Macedonia this week and tie up loose ends (such as close bank accounts etc) and hopefully, if my husband gets approved, come back to the US together. Can I go back to Macedonia even though his visa is still not approved? (it says READY at CEAC)
  4. Okay, thanks for the information! Just today, my case status changed to READY…do you think I should still try uploading to CEAC? I don’t want to mess anything up…
  5. Hi! Same thing just happened to me and I saw this post. I had a 221g and sent in additional documents and now my status is Ready. Did you have to go to another interview again or did it just go to issued and you received you visa? Thank you!
  6. Hi, I needed to start a new topic for this as I am not sure what to do. I was requested additional documents for proof of domicile (221g refusal) and I sent them via email and brought them in the Embassy on june 7th, but I did not upload them to CEAC. The case has been updated on june 17th and it's still refused and I have not heard from them yet. Could it be because I didn't upload them to CEAC as well? Can I upload them now or is it too late considering it's been 2 weeks since I left them at the Embassy? Thanks
  7. Thank you. Should I upload it now even though I have already given them the documents 2 weeks ago? Would that be ok?
  8. One more question: I sent the additional documents to the Embassy via email and my husband also brought them to the Embassy on a date that they scheduled. Should I also upload them to CEAC? Everything that I sent to CEAC was approved, previously, but the consular officer gave us the 221g refusal slip requesting we bring more proof of domicile, so now I am not sure if I should upload the additional documents as well or just give them to the Embassy like we already did?
  9. Hi everyone, My husband got the 221g refusal letter and they needed him to provide additional documents about proof of domicile and we sent in the documents on june 7th. I am opening CEAC now and it says: case last updated: june 17th and also refused Does this mean that the case is refused again or that it’s still in processing because they haven’t called us yet. Thank you!
  10. Hi everyone, I was living abroad for 10+ years and that’s where I met my husband and we wanted to come back to the US. He got denied at the consular interview because I didn’t provide enough proof of domicile. I am in the US right now and I got the following documents: - Lease agreement for an apartment - Bank statement with my new address and a credit card - State ID and Voter Card - Phone plan - Transfer of money from my bank abroad to my new account here Is this enough for my husband to send to the Embassy? How important is having a job? Can they deny him because I don’t have a job right now? I am not working right now because I am studying in order to get my license to work in my field. Thank you!
