US Immigration from Japan

Firstly, I wanna thank everyone for helping out on the beginning of our visa journey, but we are still at complicated roadblocks ahead.

I will be petitioning my wife via consular process in Tokyo, and we are confused on where we should put my wife's name on part 4.

We are both foreign nationals in Japan (I'm US Citizen and wife is Chinese), our marriage certificate, Japanese ID, and residence registration all use her Maiden name and previous family name that is originally written on her passport. Both my children are us citizens with my last name.

We intend to have my wife's ID in the US as her first name and her family name as my last name. However, Japanese law is very picky about documenting foreigners taking up different names other than Japanese.

1.) Do we use my wife's first name and my last name as her family name on #4 part 4 as a formality, or would the USCIS look at this as a discrepancy because all of our supporting documents say otherwise. Or would we have to put that on #5 as other names used. I know we will be facing this same situation on the ds260.

2.) Also on #57, it's instructing us to put her name if her Native language does not use romanized letters, but her passport has her name in both Chinese and romanized spelling. Trick question cause chinese can use letters in very special uses. But generally it doesn't.

I did petition my ex-wife more than 13 years ago via adjustment in the US, but I can hardly remember the filing date and where it was approved.

What I can plug in for the dates filed and location?

Also, would I need to plug in her maiden name as her family name, now that we have been divorced for many years? Or do they expect me to fill out names that we're used during that time period.

Planning to travel to Japan in August to get hitched and then submit I-130 shortly after to begin CR1 process. I wanted to go into it eyes wide open and decided to build a schedule to understand the process better. To make it as accurate as possible, I downloaded the last ~5 years of data related to spouses immigrating from Japan (about 150 cases) and did some benchmarking. Luckily, it seems the Japan timeline is a little quicker than average, but please critique my schedule and tell me if I'm missing some steps or if they're out of order.

I have to submit a letter and evidence for intent to reestablish domicile.

some of my bank statements are 10 pages long.

Do I have to Include every page or can I only include the first page or two that has my U.S. mailing address and bank information?

Has anyone be through the Interview process at the Tokyo Embassy within the last year or so?

How did you organize your paperwork and documents?

Any suggestions to make things easier?

My stack of documents is getting bigger and I'm trying to figure out how to organize it.

Any suggestions on how to organize so everything is easy to find and easily handed over if asked is welcome.
