I am DQ. But, I would like to review my answers in the DS-260. Is it OK to click through the DS-260? My concern is that I edit something accidentally and lose my DQ.

I am a US citizen who acquired citizenship through my mother almost 20 years ago as a minor. However, my parents never received a certificate of citizenship for me. They don't recall applying for one but got a US passport when I was 12 years old. I renewed my passport when I turned 18 and I remember having to submit my mother's naturalization certificate for it. Since then, I've always kept up with my passport because it's my only proof of citizenship.

I'm now in my 30s with only a US passport and my foreign birth certificate. I decided to apply for the N600 and have submitted every document I could find from back then.

I don't have my mother's birth certificate but it's something they ask. Has anyone here been in this particular situation or have knowledge as to what I can expect?

I fear that I just lost $1170. But I don't think I can rely on my mom's naturalization certificate forever.

Thanks for reading.

In some places I have read doctors in India take a look at private parts and other cases it is not mentioned.

What exactly happened in your experience ?

Hello All,

I have been divorced with my ex for 6 years now and it was a religious divorce. I paid alimony at the time of divorce.

I have visited India last year and at the port of entry Immigration office stopped me and informed that i have a LOC ( look out notice) on my name,

They handed over me to local police and police served me 41-C notice in a case and took my passport and let me go.

I had to file a petition in concern court and got a interim order to travel back, even when I was flying back IO at airport stopped me contacted concern police station to let me go.

IO told me LOC - Look out notice is only applicable for all the Airports in India but nothing out of county.

Now I am eligible for my naturalization and my concern is if this LOC will show up in background check when I apply for naturalization.

Please share if any one from these forum had similar situation.

Thank you,

Sam
