Hello!

I am preparing to schedule my F4 visa interview appointment, my mother is the principal applicant and I'm her dependent. They're already there in the States but I had some document troubles and was told to reschedule later.

I'm still in college and I was thinking of travelling to the US during winter vacations and coming back in time for my last semester. The vacations is around 1.5 months long. After that I'll need to be in India for around 6 months (minimum)

So my question is how long does one have to stay there in order to be able to travel back to India. If I need to wait for any documents or a minimum duration or what would the process be like?

Hi,

I need to know how long will it take to get visa appointment in India after I get NOA2? I was really hoping to plan marriage in spring 2023, but then I looked at the visa appointment wait times in Mumbai and other consulates in India, and got super disheartened.

Let's say if I get NOA2 in March 2023, what's the realistic time I should expect?

Hello fellow Journeyers!

I have been stressing over the DS 160/ B-2 interview. I have been trying to get an interview in one of the India locations ( Kolkata, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai), but the last 7 days it's been a struggle to get an appointment. It keeps showing no appointments available even if there are available ones. It then locks me out due to multiple attempts for 72 hours. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated! I live in NYC, hence it is Eastern Standard Time.

Fly back for Interview with L1 or AOS with CR-1?

Hi All,

I m from India and my wife is a US Citizen. I ve filed for CR-1 in Nov 2021 & still awaiting approvals on i130 (Consular processing).

My current employer has agreed to sponsor an L1 visa for me & traveling to start work by Jan 2023, but I am confused on how to move forward.

I have couple of queries :

I am anticipating my approvals for i130 before end of this year. Can I do adjustment of status (AOS) in US with my approved i130? Do we foresee any issues?
If 1 is not possible, can I come back to India for interview?
