Hello all,

I just got the letter from NVC, my fiance in didn't receive anything (in India). What is the next step? On the letter it gave me the website and when I go to the website it says full of the D-160.

1. Should we will it the D-160?

2. Does she need to get police Certificate? Does anyone know what that is?

3. Should we wait for a letter from the consulate in India to send letter first?

4. Where do we pay for the fees?

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your fianc (e)'s/spouse's approved I-129F petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Mumbai (Bombay), India. Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fianc (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition.

Go to our website http://nvc.state.gov/k1 to learn how to apply for a K visa and prepare for the visa interview.

Parents are in IR5 category, PD: July 2020, DQ: Jan 2022.

No IL from Mumbai consulate. Anyone still waiting in IR5 category for parents to get interview scheduled in Mumbai??

Hello fellow VJers,

The petition for my parents got approved by USCIS. I am currently not working but my husband is working. My husband s income meets the AOS requirements to support both my parents. We file taxes jointly as married couple.
As I am the petitioner I need to file form i864. Does my husband need to file an i864a as well or is it only for household members other than spouse?
I am a little confused on this part as we only have one tax return.

Help please!

Does anyone have a cover letter for the whole package for the Spouse married to USC.

I-130 I-485 I-765 I-131 I-693 G-1145 I-864

Now what ?

Do I send all of them to one place ? If different places then do I send all of the packet to all the places.

Your pal suffering with USCIS

Hello,

This case is a bit complex. My brother lives in Canada with a student visa and valid US b1-B2 visa. My Parents are recently coming to USA as their interview date is in November. They will be on IR-1 visa and will have LPR once they come.

Now, the complex situation is that my brother is under 21 and will be 21 next year in January. But, will remain unmarried. He wants to come to USA and stay, what are the options for him to stay? and, also potentially work or study?

Have my parents submit both I-130 and I-485 at same time? Also, with that submission, can he drive/work/study?
