Hello all! I am about to send off our form I-485 and I am double checking everything. I had a a question about part 6 where it asks about prior marriages. I am the petitioner and I have been married once before, but my beneficiary husband has never been married. Is this part asking for his prior marriages or mine?

I am a US Citizen and my parents have entered US on their IR5 visa stamped in passport.

Question 1: When will they get their physical green card in mail?

Question 2: Is there a fee one has to pay to receive the card in mail?

I have not come across any information and unable to get anything from USCIS online site.

Hi, I would like to know about the process for applying for adjustment of status for my unmarried son, aged 29, who is in India and is in DQ state. His priority date is 7/2017. He has a valid B1/B2 visa and has visited USA few times since 2005. His recent visit was in 2022/23. I am his mother, naturalized US citizen and his petitioner.

I would like to know the process, time frame and cost for adjustment of status. Thanks.

Is it possible for an Indian citizen on an L1B visa to renew the L1B visa in Canada as a tourist on a Canadian tourist visa?

I'm an Indian citizen who got their L1B visa in Canada a couple of years ago. I was a Canadian permanent resident at that time. Since then, I've given up my Canadian PR and currently have a tourist visa for Canada.

I'd like to renew my L1B visa in Canada for logistical reasons. Are there any risks of doing that over renewing in India?

Not sure if my travel history is required to answer this, but I visit Canada about once every two months, each trip lasting for 4 - 7 days, to visit friends.

Hello everyone, myself Parth.

I am a US Citizen via Naturalization. I filed I-130 for my wife, and she lives in Canada, but is from India and has an Indian Passport. As of February it is still showing 8 months before USCIS processes our file. My wife wants to travel back to India to spend time with her parents, would it be possible to complete Visa interview process in India, considering we started it here? Or will she have to go back to Canada for interview?
