Hi there,

It has been a month since I applied for my parents for I-131 re-entry permit. They are GC holders. How long should they wait to expect their biometrics appointment? Can they go back to their home country without the biometrics appointment? What is the timeline for getting notified of the biometrics appointment? They have to return for personal reasons but can be back in a year.

Dear friends My mother and younger sister are alone in my home country I am planning to apply the visit visa for them on medical ground can somebody help me that what kind of letter the dr has to write from USA that they are willing to treat them so that once the visa interview is schedule they can show this letter to the visa officer and will get there visa.

After I uploaded my photo and download the application pdf from government website (https://ociservices.gov.in/welcome), my picture on the top right corner shows up rotated horizontally while signature shows up just fine.

Is it normal?

Hi, I went for my interview on 11th June 2021 for IR1 visa and they gave me a 221G letter stating my wife doesnt have domicile of USA. I got that because she is in India with me since feb 2019 and didnt went back to USA. In September 2020 she started working for an USA firm and they have offer her in office job in USA. We already got an apartment on lease for that city stating her and my name as tenants. Now, my question is , 221G form says I need to book an appointment again to VAC office to provide more document but what I read online is that we can drop documents on any VAC location. Did someone got a 221G recently and how did the approach to embassy with new proof.
