US Immigration from India

Does anyone know if the Mumbai embassy has caught up with K1 visa backlogs? I received my NOA2 on August 10th and I am now try to get a rough timeline on which month can I expect the interview to take place! Any pointers/direction is welcome. I have been monitoring the raw statistics published in https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/nonimmigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-nonimmigrant-visa-issuances.html for the last couple of months which shows they have not been so keen or aggressive in clearing the backlog!

Do I need to produce a court permit to move to the US with my daughter on K1 & K2 visa? If so, how long does it take to get one?

I applied on Aug 23. Expedited passport application.

No tracking info yet on passport status website. No check cashed.

There was no tracking number on the receipt the post office gave me. Please do yourself a favor request it and pay extra for it. I didn't even know I could request one.

I think I will go to the post office and try to get GPS coordinates and see what can be done.

What are my options? Please help

Hello everyone. My cr1 petition recently got approved and we received nvc letter. We have already started working on our case. My question is regarding affidavit of support. My husband who is a us citizen doesn't earn much so we have decided to ask his elder brother to sponsor me(beneficiary). My husband lives with his parents and brother. My husband's brother is also married and they all stay together in one household.Now the question is:

1. Whether my husband's brother is considered as co sponsor or household member(they all stay together in one house)?

2. Whether my husband's brother's wife can also sponsor me?

3. Which form do they have to fill( i1864 or i1864a)

4. Dependents of my husband's brother are his child and parents.

5. My husband went to a medical school in the year 2018. Does he have to submit any statement for non payment of taxes?

Today , I have received a email from USCIS -"We have taken an action on your case'. I filed N400 application by August 2020, what is the that email meaning?. I verified the status in USCIS online account, there is no update in the status.
