US Immigration from Honduras

My daughter in law is in the US on a J1 Visa that expires June, 2022. She is married to a US Citizen. She has applied for the J1 2-year residency waiver. Rather than wait for the approval for the J1 Waiver, which takes several months, she wants to submit the I-130, I-130A and I-864 now. When the waiver is approved, she plans to file the I-485 (AOS).

My questions are:

(1) Can she file the I-130 while here in the US while waiting for the I-130?

(2) Can she submit the I-130 and I-130A electronically?

(3) When and how does her spouse file the I--864?

I m filing the I 130 electronically. My spouse and I are in the US. Can I file the I 864 electronically with the I 130 and is there a fee?

Hi! My husband was recently naturalized and we will be applying for both of his parents who were unmarried at the time of his birth, but married a few years ago.

For those who have been in the same situation, what additional evidence did you supply to USCIS? We are in a tough position because very little is documented or kept in Honduras. We have the birth certificates, of course, recent marriage certificate (for his parents), and photos of my husband and his father, but really not much documentarily that helps to link my father-in-law to my husband while he was growing up.

Any out of the box suggestions that anyone may have? It's much appreciated!

Hello , my name is Alejandra ayestas , me and my husband applied for the form i130 ( adjustment status ) I came here legally but I ve been waiting for a response for almost 2 years now , now I m trying to apply for the i485 since I found out I could still be working even if it s pending and I guess my question is can I still apply for the i485 even if the i130 it s pending ? My husband is a Us. Citizen if the helps , I just wanna be able to work thank you

My young friend ("Alex") has an approved I-360 Asylum petition. (He turns 13 at the end of 2020.)

We have an I-797 Approval Notice for him.

Alex has a Priority Date of 03/01/2019

Since he is classified as a SIJ (Special Immigrant-Juvenile), he is in the queue for a EB-4 visa.

Further, he is from Honduras, so he is in the EB-4 queue for that country which is not current. The Final Action date for Honduras EB-4 is currently 05/01/2018. (As of Dec 2020)

So... we are unable to submit an I-485 Application for Permanent Residence until the Final Action date for his class and country.

QUESTIONS

1. What is Alex's current legal status? Is he now a legal permanent resident (LPR)? I see in the USCIS Policy Manual, Chapter 7, the following language at the end of the section on Approval:

 "The applicant becomes an LPR as of the date of approval of the adjustment application."

2. Prior to being able to file an I-485, is there any other documentation we should have to prove his status (We have the I-797, but that is all.)

3. Is there any way for him to receive travel permission prior to getting the I-485 and submitting an I-131?

4. Any other thoughts or suggestions?
