US Immigration from Finland

Hello,

Has anyone applied Visa recently from Finland? i just came across that k1 visa interviews will take place in Sweden? I found this article and am i correct that the interviews will take place in Sweden?

Does anyone know has Stockholm lot of backlog etc? We received our NOA2 around a week ago, now waiting it to transfer.

Kinda suprised they just recently changed this. If anyone has information how the things work in Embassy in Sweden? Do they send packet, how to book appointment etc, i would be more than happy to hear it, since i have only searched how they handle things in Finland embassy. Nice to know things in advance thank you!

How do we know when USCIS cashes our cheque? How long does it usually take? We sent in petition I 130 and received the "your case was received" txt message with our case number.

Hi, we just got notice of receipt on our I130. Can the beneficiary sign up for the USCIS online account or does it have to be the petitioner?

It's just that I am so much better with all things online than my husband

Hi, I've read here that its not possible to apply for a work visa in the US while you have I 130 pending but what if a company in the US is willing to sponsor me with a temporary work visa, would that be ok?

And I am married to a USC, he is in the US and I am currently still in my home country Finland.

I entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa and wasn t aware I needed to apply for a Social Security Number (SSN) right after arriving. I m now filing my I-485 for adjustment of status since the 90-day window to marry is nearly up. Can I still apply for an SSN after submitting my I-485, or will I need to wait until my green card is approved?
