US Immigration from Egypt

Question. I have previously brought someone over on a DCF Spousal visa (13 years ago) and another on a fiance visa (9 years ago). Unfortunately neither worked out. My husband and I are now awaiting our interview for spousal visa. I would very much like to explain to the officer why the previous marriages did not work out (first was just 2 years, divorced before conditions were lifted on 2 years green card) and (second, fiance visa, married, together 8 years total before divorce). However, I do not believe the embassy will allow me in at the time of the interview. Should I write the explanations and upload them to the CEAC site? I just feel the officer could easily judge me, however they were legitimate reasons (adultery and abuse)

Couple questions for those who have interviewed already in Cairo. I see what we need from the interview letter, however, would appreciate more advice.

Out of the doctor's approved for the medical, did anyone have a particularly good/experience with any of them? Also, how far in advance did you do your medical to ensure it was ready in time for the interview?

It doesn't state the family record/register is required. However, I've heard some have been asked to provide it. Can someone give me an example of what that is and where to obtain it?

Interview is at 730am. What time would you suggest we arrive at the embassy?

We have our interviews scheduled for December 12th. Can anyone please confirm the documents they brought with them to the interview that they needed to get from Egypt? The ones I'm aware of are the updated police certificate, military exemption, birth certificate, medical.

Also any advise for the interview at Cairo would be appreciated. Not too much information out there.

Has any one tried to get a Tourist Visa for the spouse why after the Open there I-130 and if so was it approved or not and what reason for not. I know this is hard to do and government have a lot of issue with it but i have read that there is no law against doing this. Please le me know.

Does anybody know how long it has been taking for the petitioner to recieve notification from NVC after recieving NOA2? My fiance is from Egypt and I recieved our NOA2 on Aug 8th and still have not recieved a case number or instructions on the next steps and it is not suppose to take longer than 4 weeks. I have already sent an inquiry over 2 weeks ago to the public emil given on the website and have not recieved a reply to that either? I am very concerned because the NOA2 has a expiration date, which is only 2 shorts months away ..does anyone know what is expected by this date and if you can request an extension; or explain to me what it means? I am not sure what else to do since NVC does not take calls anymore. Can someone please give me some advice of what to do? Please help
