US Immigration from Egypt

Hello all,

Im not sure if this is the right place to ask but I cannot find any answers anywhere.

My husband is currently a greencard holder and he wants to travel back to Egypt for a visit.

His flight makes 2 stops, 1 in canada and 1 in london with a layover of about 10 hours in london.

My question is, does he need a visa to make transit in london?

So I ve been seeing an RFE come through requesting a civilly registered marriage certificate. The one I submitted with the filing was the church certificate. I obtained the civil one after I filed.

I want to submit it before I get the RFE. if I submit the certificate now, is it true that my application gets put in the back of the queue?

Hello everyone, my wife and I have been living abroad together since we started our visa journey. My interview is coming and I saw it can be a problem if she is living with me and not in the United States. We have her US bank statements, drivers license, temporary work visa, and tax returns as a proof of domicile. Do you think it would be better for her to go back to the States while I'm taking the interview or that it will be okay if we stay together?

So I got my NOA1 back in Feb. The bottom of the letter said Texas Service Center. Simply out of curiosity, i asked Emma where it is and they mentioned it's been at California Service Center since the start.

Is this normal?

Hello all, my wife's passport has a typo (it misstates her city of birth) that was carried over to our Egyptian marriage certificate. Once we realized the error, she got a new passport with the correct birthplace. Unfortunately the bureaucracy in Egypt would be too difficult, costly, and time consuming to navigate to fix the marriage certificate. My question is, could the error be an issue for us in my upcoming CR 1 interview at the Embassy?
