US Immigration from Cuba

We have received the date of our interview, we were told that we would be about to change the date or request a new date for the interview. I was wondering if anyone knew of any information on how to do that. My fiance is Cuban, and we will be going to Georgetown, Guyana for the interview.

I m starting to prepare my documents for the interview (just getting a jump start) and have a question. My fianc e is Cuban, we ll interview in Guyana. I know that my (petitioner) birth certificate is a requirement. I was married and divorced in the past so my birth certificate has my maiden name but my passport and all other documents has my current name (never changed it at divorce). Is this an issue? Do I need a copy of my previous marriage certificate to explain the name difference? Or is the divorce decree enough to show that? Thanks for any help!

- Tax returns and amendments for 2016-2018
- Copy of credit card statements for every month since I added him as an authorized user
- Copy of bank statements for joint accts for every month since he was added
- Internet, Gas, and Electricity bills (every month)
- Wills and Medical Power of Attorney
- Documentation that shows we had joint health insurance since he got here
- 401K and IRA beneficiary page
- Print out from HR to show all of the current benefits he's on
- Joint investment account statements
- Copy of AAA cards
- Copy of Costco cards
- Boarding passes for some trips we've taken
- Airbnb reservations for trips we've taken
- Flight confirmations for upcoming trips
- A wedding invitation and Xmas card addressed to both of us
- Car insurance and renter's insurance in both names
- Letter showing we have a car loan together
- Car title in both names
- Photos: 5 pre-marriage, 5 post-marriage, 5 within the last 6 months. I leaned toward ones that showed us with family and traveling together.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to make a post were all Cubans could comment on the status of there case. We are currently in the waiting for interview stage. A stage that has taken longer than ever expected. Our case complete is Feb 2019. Almost 9 months in a few days of waiting for this interview , I will keep everyone up to date on our progress. What stage of this process is everyone else ? If you have any questions or need help do no hesitate in contacting me , would love to share my experience and my knowledge.

Has anyone included notarized letters from family and friends in their proof of relationship evidence for the interview stage? I have plenty of photos, texts, phone records and visits. But I ve had friends offer and I m wondering if anyone else has done this. Or if you think it s worth it.
