My wife and I are scheduled for an interview. This is for a marriage based I-485. My wife does not speak English. The letter for the interview states that will can have an interpreter by phone. The letter does not have specifis about the interpreter. Does anyone know what are the requirements for the interpreter such as can it be a family member? I tried calling theUSCIS office but no luck (recording IVR).

Hello All, My wife's cr1 is at NVC and has been approved since December. I came back to the states for a job that I was offered recently and now I'm working. I'm wondering if applying for a k3 visa for her would get her and my daughter here faster than waiting for the Colombian embassy to start doing interviews regularly. My daughter already has her CRBA and is an American citizen. Has anyone done a k3 recently during covid (or had any visa approved recently)? I heard that they are doing these K type interviews and they're somewhat a priority. Any advice would help! Thanks!!

My wife and step son have been waiting for over a year for the green card interview. They reapplied for the Advance parole and work authorization card , this would be the second time as the first one expired since its good for one year only. Today only the work authorization was sent with no advance parole. Has anyone had this happen? Were trying to figure out what happened to the advance parole? Anyone had this happen? filled out I-131 and I797
