Hi guys I have a real doubt here, I came here as a K1 in 2018 got married in 2018 and did the AOS successfully in May 2019. In May 2021 my green card is about to expire and I am about to file for the ROC, however in 2018 i was pregnant and in October my daughter was born, during the AOS process we sent USCIS a copy of her birth certificate and during our interview my husband and I we think that the officer asked us if they could keep the birth certificate copy we had and we said yes. After a few months we started looking for her birth certificate and we couldn't find it anywhere so we are not sure what happened to it. And I was not worried about it until now, i always thought that I could just go at the clerk's office and request a new copy very simple but the case is that I just learned that since March 2020 they are not accepting a walk in request and everything has to be done online, so I ordered a new copy and this efing paper is going to take 3-4 weeks to arrive and also before they process I need to print a document and FAX this efing document to them, who the hell has a FAX now days. So my question is that due to my history since I know they do have my daughter birth certificate attached to my whole process at USCIS can I just pretend I forgot to add her birth certificate or I should wait until I have the documents to file for the ROC ? Thank you all who took your time to read just giant text and help me out. Really appreciate

Hey guys - Our son is due 5 days after our AOS interview, however he could definitely be born before or even on our interview date. Our field office/interview is in Cincinnati, Ohio. We can't find anyone willing to babysit. Would it be a problem to bring our boy in with us? Also, what do we do if her water breaks/she goes into active labor the day of interview? Do we just call the Cincinnati office, let them know, then send in a letter for a reschedule request due to a medical emergency? Thanks!

I filed my I-129F a month ago along with the G-1145 for correspondence through email and have not received my Receipt Number. I called the number provided on the internet but unless you have the receipt number you can not talk to a human and the automated system hangs up on you. The packet was received by USCIS in Texas as my Tracking number was verified and signed by an individual that received my packet. Is there anything I can do or someone I can talk to at USCIS, to get an Idea of when my Receipt will arrive or some sort of status for my application?

Hello friends, We got DQ d back in May 2020. Once I get my interview letter, should I update any documents on CEAC? 1) Police certifcate is now expired 2) Financial forms (I think presenting 2019 bank statements might be strange in 2021) 3) 2019 tax transcript is now available These are the ones I can think off the top of my head. OR should I just take everything to the interview, without uploading it? Thanks!

Hey everyone, My wife and I were finally scheduled for our interview on Monday, March 15th! The instructions on the NOA state that a phone interpreter will be necessary for her. However, I feel an in-person interpreter is better because of potential connectivity issues and ability to hear the interpreter better in-person. Are in-person interpreters not allowed in with us for the interview? Thanks!
