My fianc recently arrived in the US and we recently had our wedding. I called my insurance company and they said they needed a SSN to add her to my insurance. I called the Social Security office and they were telling me I can get a SSN without an EAD I have an appointment to go to the Social Security office this week. Is an valid I-94 / Active K1 Visa / Birth Certificate enough for us to get a social security number? And if not, how else can I get one?

Hi everyone, I need some help. We had our interview on October 8 for K-1 visa at the consulate in Rio, we were instructed to submit a police background check from Italy since Adriana (applicant) had lived in Italy within the last five years. We got the police background check and began submitting it in the beginning of November. We sent many emails with the document and also sent it by mail to Rio. After many emails and calls that never got a response they acknowledged receiving the document on Nov 29th. Today I received a email that says they need Italy Police certificate translated into English> They did not give any other direction on what is needed other than "Italy Police Certificate translated into English. Does anyone know what is required for the translation, where and how should I go about getting this done? Thank you in Advance!

Hi, I'm the sponsor for my spouse. We are doing AOS after the K1. I need help in understanding what I need to add to satisfy the RFE that we received, I have attached the RFE to the post. We received it because they say they can't verify that I am a qualified sponsor or above the poverty limit, but I believe I am. I currently make $62,000 a year. I got this job in August and included a letter form my employer stating I was full time and making that salary. I included bank statements and pay stubs for the whole year. I also included my tax return from 2020. I believe that the complications come from the job being more recent and that I have no tax returns from 2018 of 2019 because I was living in Brazil, serving a church mission for two years. I also was not making the same salary before August of this year. I was interning with the company that hired me, and my pay was $17 an hour, but I was part time because I was still studying. I was hired by them when I graduated in August. I thought that my current income would be enough to not need a co-sponsor. Request for Evidence.pdf

My father lives abroad, and him and my step-mother have two adult children together. They married after I turned 18 so I can't petitioner for her, only my father and my half-siblings(Although that takes so long that we better just wait until my father can petition for them). Is there any options for concurrently applying for his family as well? And if not, would he have to come live in the US away from his family until they get here? I ask this because he can't stay there once he gets his GC, right? Due to the residency requirements to keep the GC.
