Quick question. How long does it take for CEAC to ''ACCEPT' uploaded civil and AOS documents? Do all documents have to be submitted before they are checked or are they checked on as they are uploaded into the system?

My wife's visa interview was at the US Embassy in Bangladesh on March 18 (see my timeline for more info)

At the interview, the CO determined that we needed a joint sponsor based on my income of the latest filed tax year of 2017 at that time. I had employment letter, pay stubs and bank statements establishing my current 2018 income, but the CO didn't accept any of that. So, we received a 221g, and the case status on CEAC was showing as 'Refused'. We submitted a joint sponsor's documents within a week.

But since then no update at all.

I sent an email to the Embassy to inquire about it. We received the following response -

Quote

We have received the documents that you have submitted via our visa collection center. Now, the case is under additional review. We will contact you with updated instruction once the review is complete. This will take time. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

Does that mean we are under Administrative Processing now?

The last update date on the CEAC case status site is April 1st, and still showing 'Refused'.

Is there anything we can do at this point, or just wait ?

I am petitioning for my husband. My case is at NVC and I have "ceac.state.gov" case and invoice number to log into the website. I became disabled a couple years ago and do not work, so my brother will be a sponsor. My question is do I need to file an i-864? If I do, what do I put for "1e" on i-864? Am I the first/second joint sponsor or am I not a sponsor at all? ceac.state.gov is asking for my i864 and tax return. Also, last time I filed a tax return was in 2017, the year I became disabled. Should I submit that or not submit one at all and explain why I did not submit?
