Our File took place in July 2019 , My wife was a US Citizen and i am from Bangladesh. i got my first interview on JAN 2021 , Visa Officer put our case in Administrative Process later in December 2021 my wife dies due to covid i let embassy know embassy took a follow up Interview at FEB 10, 2022 and issued a 221G ( new medical , police Clearance, New Passport , I 864W, Passport Photograph & Visa Officer said he is putting my case from IR1 to IW1). I submitted all of them at march 1- 2022, every day my case status remain the same which is "Refused" but updating the date only. i called the US embassy Dhaka they saying my case is still in Administrative Processing.

My minor Kids are living in a measurable situation without any parents.

This is an in human act from US Embassy Dhaka & this is against basic human right. Please suggest what can i do at this situation.

I hope all of you are well. I am requesting some additional help with my in-laws I-130.

My wife is a USC and has petitioned for both of her parents at the same time. We recently received a notification that her mother's case was approved. Shortly after, we received a RFE notice for her father. There was an issue with the marriage certificate.

Essentially, the issue is that the marriage certificate registration/notary date is decades after the actual marriage date took place. After reading through several threads, it looks like this isn't an uncommon problem when filing for elderly parents.

The marriage took place almost 50 years ago in Bangladesh. During that time, it was very uncommon for marriages to get registered and the country was literally fighting a war. No such document exist from that time period that I am currently aware of. Not only that, the person who solemnized the marriage is long gone.

1. Would Affidavits from relatives be the next best evidence?

2. How does one go about obtaining evidence of the non-existence of the marriage certificate?

3. Is there a template for such a affidavit and what are the most important pieces of info?

4. Should we get affidavits from her father's side and her mother's side (attesting to the marriage)?

5. Has anyone from Bangladesh or surrounding countries faced this specific issue and, if so, how did you successfully handle it?

6. Considering the circumstances, what other secondary evidence can we provide to either prove the marriage and/or prove that a marriage document from that era does not exist?

We are currently trying to see if any possible pictures exist or, at the least, a trail of pictures with them and their kids. Would this be helpful?

I am a bit worried because of a lack of documents behind the marriage. Obtaining affidavits should be doable but they are counted as tertiary evidence - not even secondary. Who would have thought a couple who has been married for half a century would ever need to prove their relationship?

Could you guys share your experiences on your immigration journey? in that way I can get some information that how long it might take?

My wife, who is a USC, has recently filed form I-130 to immigrate her mother to the US and USCIS has confirmed that they received the petition. We've also found out that my wife is pregnant and having her mother as a caregiver would be very helpful for us. I know USCIS has a process to expedite petitions based on humanitarian reasons. Would like to know if anyone has gone through this type of process and what kind of evidence needs to be provided. Will doctor's notes and ultrasound images be sufficient? What would be the process to file this type of request?

we have our interview coming up for fianc visa (Bangladesh) and I am the petitioner (USA) so I need to send financial support information. I am getting conflicting information which is correct or has worked for you guys?

1. do I need to submit 3 years of tax returns signed or 3 years of w2 only?

2. I recently left my job two months ago so I was planning to use my sister as a joint sponsor. Does she also need to submit the I-134, 3 years of tax returns and w2, bank statement and job letter?
