US Immigration from Australia

My fiance is actually capable of still working in Australia via zoom (more of a side hustle than fulltime job), but I'm worried that might upset the US gov and hurt us later on in this process. Everything I've read online is that she can't work in the US, but I can't find any information whether or not she can still earn Australian income while in the US before the work permit comes through. Anyone know? If she can't earn income by working, is passive income from renting out her former home ok? Surely they can't tell her she's not allowed to have gains from an investment property...?

I am going to be applying for my CR1 visa soon and i am in the mists of collecting all of the evidence for our relationship.

I was wondering if - I the beneficiary can be the one collecting all of the photo evidence of messages for the petitioner. We live together in Australia and i'm just providing a brief timeline of conversations for our engagement and planning trips together etc over facebook, instagram and imessage. I just wanted to make sure that when i submit the screen shots or messages it's got all of the petitioners name on it. Should we start mixing both mine and her names? I have screenshots of a few facebook / instagram posts from her account and different ones from mine, although mainly all the screenshots are from my end (the beneficiary). Sorry if this sounds silly! Just want to make sure we are on the right path.

I have a weird one - so we attended our interview this week but received an interview cancellation notice for the said interview after it was completed. Because we received the letter after the scheduled date we attended the interview as instructed and nothing was said about the cancellation when we checked-in at the USCIS center.

Has anyone experienced anything similar - all I can think of is maybe there's an issue with their system...

I'm currently in LA on my K1, and I was just worried what my next steps should be?

We got married yesterday and are now awaiting our marriage certificate, and I have chosen to take my partners name. If this is the case, do I have to wait for my marriage Certificate to arrive before I can start applying for SSN's etc?

What exactly do I need to do now, and in what order?

I filled the I-751 on July 2018, 27 months ago. The status has been "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview" since January 2020, 9 months ago. It is an absolute embarrassment that it takes 27 months to process this and 9 months to schedule an interview. I'm ready to call the quits, f* this s*, and go back to Australia.

Anyone else's case approaching 30 friking months?
