Can i activate a K-1 visa within the US?

I don't think you can. You have to activate from a POE

Could always drive to Mexico (or Canada) and turn around and (re)enter.... Otherwise I'm at a loss (as you might be having to explain the David Copperfield appearance trick.)

i doubt that i could too.im only 4hr drive from Canada,,,does driving count or do i have to fly?

i went to Canada before and didnt even take my I-94 out

The visa is printed on one of the visa pages in your passport. Where is your passport?? How did you get into the US without a passpot, or with passport?? If with passport...how are they going to issue a visa??

went to London,got interview but they needed more details...

I flew to the US with passport.

Got the necessary docs and send them with passport to US Embassy London.

Got visa to parents house today.

you need to go through the port of entry

You are here in the US and your Passport is with your parent in UK.... lets hope it dont get lost in the mail..... yes you will have to leave the US to activate your K1... land, sea or air as long as you go through a POE....
