I, too is a follower of this site..This is a big help to me as i keep on reading some other experiences on their visa process. It help me what to do and how to be prepared in every single step thats why i'm here to help those who are still going to have their CFO seminar.

I'm from Leyte who need to fly to Manila just to have this Cfo seminar and so i can apply for my passport for it is a pre-requesite in getting the passport for those who are married to foreign national. So I, fly to manila on April 14,2013 and so the next day ill attend the seminar which is monday April 15, 2013.

I wake up 4 in the morning to prepare and of course all the documents that i need and so it will not hender me in taking the seminar, good that my uncle is with me since im not really familiar with the different street in manila since he is a driver so he know more. I arrive at about 5:30 in the Commission on Fillifino Overseas at Citigold Center 1345 Pres. Quirino Avenue Corner Osmena Highway Manila and i was shocked seeing many people already fall in line in different category, first i fall in line in the wrong one but good that my uncle ask about the line of married to foreign national and so i transfer but theres already a long line and i thought i cant be inside since I'm about the 16th person in line but i just stay and i found out that some are just the companion of the one who is taking the seminar so at 6:00 the guard let us enter and ask for an i.d so i give mine. They let us seat and wait and so a few minutes the officer give us different color of an i.d for different category so i got pink sine im married to foreign national and after that they let us ride the elevator going to 4th floor if I'm not mistaken then one of the employee ask me my birth certificate and our marriage contract ask my name and take picure and so i was told to room 1 for USA so i go there and i meet new friends and they have already their visa while me still dont have, I'm lucky that they are good to me and we share experiences and so our speaker came she introduce her name to us and start her power point presentation and so she ask what do the seminar all about and so i raise my hand and answer. She is a very nice woman, and she live and married from USA too and the discussion went well, after her presentation she group us and let us present and disccuss about what we want in our marriage and how we can make it lifetime since I;m the youngest in the group I the one who discuss in front and I'm proud to say that I did it..after all the presentation she call us one by one for counseling and when its my turn I'm a little nervous but i said to myself if other did why not me cant and so when I'm there infront I'm confident and told her everything about what she ask and its just take few many minutes and she said you can go downstairs and wait for the release of my certificate and I'm so happy to hear it. and just in time when i reach the first floor my name was called for the payment and i got my certificate. I bid goodbye and goodluck to my new sets of friends. It was fun and informative day for me, so after that i went to the mall to relax and enjoy. So hope it help you for your up coming CFO seminar.:)Goodluck and God bless.

Good to hear all went well!! I believe your positive attitude was a factor in how easy it went. CFO isn't always "difficult", and they ask for odd information at times, but for many it goes much like it did for you. You were prepared, confident and had a good attitude.... Very happy for you!
