MY HUSBAND HAD HIS INTERVIEW ON NOVEMBER 6 2007 AT THE ISLAMABAD EMBASSY. tHEY SAID, "ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS ARE CLEAR AND SO YOU CAN GO BACKTO KARACHI AND YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR PASSPORT WITHIN FOUR DAYS." ITS BEEN MORE THAN 2 WEEKS HE HAS NOT YET RECEIVED HIS PASSPORT. INSTEAD, WHEN I CALLED THE SENATOR HERE THEY SAID THE PASSPORT IS IN THE USA AND IT SAYS, PROCESSING. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY THEY TOLD MY HUSBAND 4 DAYS? THEY DIDNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING SO IT CAN'T BE THAT. PLEASE HELP ME OUT. THANKS

Doesn't sound good. I'd have your senator try some more and find out what's happening.

The passport is not usually sent to the US, why would his be sent back here?? They place the visa inside at the consulate.

Have you used the inquiry email from the Embassy of Pakistan website...I sent them an email recently and they responded within 48 hours...it wasn't a helpful email, but your case should be complete already. You need to get the Senator to really start helping, there is no reason it should be in the U.S. if they told him he got the visa. AND they need to give his passport back either way!

There is so much fishy about this!
