i know, its like at each step of the process, you are just focusing on the next little task to complete...when i started, the interview seemed so far away that i wasnt even really thinking about it...now were almost there!!! soooooo exciting...its like going on a long car drive (like the ones i used to make from florida to ny---24 hours), you just dont think about it really being over, or how long its going to take, because then you would go crazy

Haha - I've gone the other way and am on the red wine - I feel like I could crash right here and sleep using my monitor as a pillow...

Stress makes you tired - part of me wants to just get my wedding out of the way so I have one less thing to worry about

i just called DOS and they told me that no interview date is scheduled yet, but that we are now eligible for an interview, and that all of the documents have been submitted!

Hi I have been sick, was just release from the hospital and am now on bed rest. Dan has his intervew today as its a day ahead in NZ, so technically its the 31st over there. He'll be having it at 9am or around 3pm New York time. I'm so nervous. I can't stay on here as I have to go back to bed, but I will check in from time to time when I need to stretch. I had the WICKEDEST stomach virus which made me violently ill which cause my back to get thrown out and aggriviate 2 herniated discs. So for a few days I could not walk, sit or anything it was horrible. So I really hope he gets good news as I never want to go through that with out him. I am not fan of hospitals. 14+ hours in the ER before they admitted me and got be a reg. bed.

soooooo ive been calling DOS everyday to find out if our interview has been scheduled...the problem is, that i keep getting the same asian woman everytime i call!!!!

im really embarassed that im a psycho and call everyday , it would be so much easier if a different person answered each time...what do they have like 2 people working there?!?!

the embassy doesnt even freakin answer the phone!!!! they say that they are transferring you to someone, and then it just rings and rings........and rings

Hi everyone!

I have a question I'm hoping you guys can answer so I can gauge roughly how long it'll take to my interview.

I received my online NOA 2 today after 243 FREAKIN days. It'll be prolly another week before I receive the hard copy. Now, in the K1 timeline guide it says from NOA 2 to interview COULD take up to four months. In your experiences, is that right?

I'm a June filer. Could it be likely I get my interview in JUNE???

I just need to gauge everything so I'm more prepared.

And should I bother getting my criminal record search done now or just wait till I hear from the embassy? Oh yeah, I had the search done a few months after filing hoping to be prepared. It has a six month expiry date. Freakin wasted my $60. Bitter? Oh, no way.
