03/12/2008 = Touched (due to phone call)

No idea Jenn. I think that sometimes once people get the interview date and are set they just disappear.

I am so pleasantly shocked...Just found out that in my US mailbox was a letter saying that my husband's interview is JULY 14th! I am overjoyed plus I will still be in Ghana and will be able to attend the interview. I was sweetly scolded for not posting that my case was complete back in May, so, here's the good news folks! I am so so so so shocked and happy. Now, only if we can get everything together so that Medlabs and Akai House get the paperwork to the Embassy in time, we're good. We found out last night and today we've already started our running around. It's kind of exciting, even though this is the third time we've done medicals since starting on our original visa journey. My husband joked, oh at least this interview will feel somewhat like a new experience, since I've not been in the new building yet. sardonic humor is a must with dealing with the Ghana embassy.

FYI: Your husband will have to pick up the medical results and take them to the interview. Tphey are no longer sent directly to the embassy.

YAY! It's about time...you two have been through this for a long time now. I am always waiting to hear about your success story. Looks like your time is coming (again, lol). If he gets approved do you plan to come back to the US immediately?

I never imagined it would take this long . The interview is after the notice expires , When I got the notice I was thinkng that I would be reunited by then but no. :crying:

He has told me that the police certificate and medical are supposed to be within 3 weeks of the interview . Is this true ? I wish the man would use a computer so he could send a copy to me. Doing this with phone and text messages is so difficult.

Does he have to travel to his village and where he was born for the police certificates or just get one in Lagos ?

It should say on his packet 3 what the expiration is.
