Hi! I am just a bit confused on what i need to send off in the first package for a K-1 visa.

On a couple of sites they differ. One site said i just needed;

forms I-129F

G-325A for myself &

G-325A for my fiance

I know of course I need to send the passport style photos and payment and so on and on...

but, on another site it said i needed to add forms:

I-134 Affidavit of Support

I-824 Application for Action

So i am just wondering which is true? I am only on the first step and i am already confused. Also, i wanted to know what is in the second package? It just seems like everyone talks about the first and the third.

Please someone :help:help ?!

Thanks!

Hannah

I-134 is not needed when filing the initial petition it is needed for visa interview later on.

I-824 is also not needed, that form is used for getting a replacement copy of aproval letter if it is lost, OR I-824 is used in K-3 cases to get USCIS to move the I-130 (CR-1) visa case moved on to the consulate.

I-134 and I-824 ar not in the directions included with the I-192F only G-235A is asked for.

The K-1 guide spells out exactly what is needed.

thanks for your help! that was confusing both of us. so what about the second packet? is that just everything you send your fiance? or am i just missing something?

There is no 'second' packet - unless you are referring to "What to send to your fiancé(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):" in which case it is 'just' everything you need to send your fiancé. :thumbs:
