Is the beneficiary required to have a certain amount of savings before entering the country on a K1 visa? Or is the USCIS only really concerned about the petitioners financial situation?

I'm sure they don't care, but I thought I'd ask anyways. Thanks. ;)

It's the petitioner's income they are really interested in.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

The petitioner, because the petitioner is expected to support the prospective immigrant. What the prospective immigrant makes or has saved makes no difference.

The petioner is expected to provide financial support information at the visa interview in the form of an I-134 for K-Visas, and later for adjustment of status by providing I-864.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Its on the petitioner. I don't think savings is in Claudeth' vocabulary :P
