Gosh, wedding dresses! Love 'em.

I had such a hard time finding one and ended up buying an simple ivory, satin cocktail dress for €99 on ebay (!) - and it was perfect. My husband bought his suit for €60 at H&M and still we looked like a million dollars :)

The big, puffy dresses look gorgeous, but I had to hug so many people, dance around and eat heaps (the menue was beautiful), so I was glad that I went for a clean-chique, comfortable cocktail dress. And I still felt like a princess.

But each to their own, you know ;)

But back to the original post - I like that short, kinky one, but certainly not for a wedding. More for a night out in the clubs!

Julie :D

i always wanted my mom to make my dress and she did... the dress was very special to me and it only cost me about 100 bucks for material... actually that included the material for the flower's girl dress too....

And you were beautiful Marilyn :)

I just don't get people that see a relation between spending money and love, either direction...if you spend, you "need the stuff because you don't love each other", if you don't, it's because you don't love the other person... Each couple should celebrate their special day however way they want, spending or not.

Saludos,

Caro

Really! As long as you are both on the same page, what difference does it make it you spend $90 or $900? Errr, I won't say what end I was closer to.... LOL

And back to topic, I like the Claire dress as well...and see no problem wearing whatever color or style. What's wrong with a purple dress? Nuffin!
