I AM HAPPY TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT I HAVE RECEIVED MY VISA FOR MY FIANCEE FROM PAKISTAN. I KNOW THE SECRET IT TOOK ME TWO YEARS TO GET THIS VISA I WAS IN ADMISTRATIVE PROCESSING FOR 1YEAR. IT WAS HELL. I FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE PEOPLE IN THIS HOLD CONTACT ME IF YOU NEED HELP YOUR ATTORNEYS CAN'T HELP YOU IF YOUR IN THIS HOLD.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

Hello... When was your interview and during your time you were on AP did you contact the Embassy? Were you given any other reason from the Embassy for taking it so long? My husband's interview was in Nov 07 and our case was put on AP. So far it has been 2 and half months.

I think a lot of people here are afraid of AP. It is a bit of a black hole and you know nothing. I think everyone would appritiate it greatly if you could share what you learned, and what the trick for getting through AP is.

May 9th, 2008 - Received P3 from GUZ (226 days)

June 7th, 2008 - Received P4 from GUZ

July 3rd, 2008 - Seal the Medical Packet in Shanghai

July 7th, 2008 - INTERVIEW DATE!!! (285 days) PASS

July 9th, 2008 - Visa in Hand

August 1st, 2008 - Entry to the US, TOGETHER AT LAST!

October 3rd, 2008 - Our Wedding Day

October 31, 2008 - Sent Adjustment of Status documents

December 5, 2008 - Biometrics appointment

January 13, 2009 - Travel Document approved

January 21, 2009 - Employment Authorization approved

April 23, 2009 - Green Card approved

Congrats!!! I know of a few ppl with spouses in pak whose visa interviews are practically a 6mos to a year later (thanks to Mush declaring state of emergency) and were already held up in administrative processingfor a year. Good Luck!

I-129F Sent : 2007-07-26

I-129F NOA1 issued : 2007-08-06

NOA2 received: 12/20/07

NVC received: 12/28/07

NVC sent to embassy 1/2/08

Packet 3 received: 1/15/08

Packet 3 sent: 1/21/08

Interview- 2/14/08

K1 Visa APPROVED- 2/15/08 and delivered 2/21/08

Wedding 3/21/08
