I have never been late. I have always been waiting there for her when she logs on. I realized just as soon as I saw her E-Card to me what I had done. :crying: Just yesterday a friend asked me if Bogota was on the same time as us and I said yes.

Time and time zones vary to the point of insanity. For instance China spans the width of five time zones but doesn't do daylight savings time or have time zones. The whole country is on the same time all the time. Provinces in the NW get dark at around 2:30 in the afternoon while the NE stays light until around 7 this time of year.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
Understanding the big picture is priceless. Anonymous

HAHA. It's very interesting for me when I learned it two years ago. The first time I heard it, I thought my fiance was kidding me.

Actually, several years ago, China was using this system too, but nowadays we don't do as this any more. I learned it from my parents, as they experienced. In my province of China, it is quite normal for the sunrise and sunset. Well, partly because I am used of it. When I fly to Guangzhou, I felt strongly the difference, as the sunset was so late in winter.

It could be confusing to do the 1 hour time change, and aslo one country with 5 hours time difference. It's confusing for the varieties of culture at some, but more importantly, it's always fun and interesting!! We have a lot to learn in our life! :)
