Ok dumbest question or confirmation that I have ever asked for but can anyone confirm the montreal consulate address?

1155 rue St-Alexandré

Montréal, Québec

H3B 1Z1 ??

It says on my appointment letter that the address is on the next page but it is not on any of my paperwork. Stupid question but I dont want to end up at the wrong place lol

I hope all goes well with your interview. My wife, Jacquie has her medical on oct 12th, and her interview on the 19th. I will be flying to Montreal on oct 15th, and will be in montreal the morning of the 16th. A little nervous to see my wife in person after 7 months. I cannot wait. Thank you all for your positive thoughts. Remember to dot all your I's and cross all your t's.

I suspect this has already been answered somewhere. When you get approved at your visa interview, how many days later can you expect to receive the visa in the mail? For those of you who have been through it already, I'd appreciate if you could share the exact timing of when you received the visa.

We are planning our flights and we want to assume the best case and book a flight to the USA that will get us there as soon as possible after we get the visa. We'd rather risk having to reschedule the flight if we are rejected than pay a much higher price for a ticket on short notice.

Is 2 weeks after the visa interview date too early to book our flight? Has anyone ever had it take longer than 2 weeks to get the visa in the mail?? Or could we go even shorter than that?

I believe they say up to 2 weeks for canada post, if the DHL system is actually working, someone told me 3-5 business days to after approval. My hubby is coming 10 days after the interview :)

From what you are saying, it sounds like there is a wait time between "approved at interview" and "visa issued". How do you know when it was issued? Do they email you to let you know that it's been issued and has been mailed?

I wonder why it took 2 weeks for it to be issued for you. Did they explain anything to you after the interview about this?

P.S. ...Still curious to hear from others as well! I want to know if this is common, and in general how consistent the timing is for those who are approved at their interviews.

When we were approved the CO told us we should receive it by the end of the week. When we didn't, I called DOS everyday. My fiance got his congresswoman on it & then all of a sudden it was issued. There is no consistency. Some couples who interviewed the samed day as us, got theirs within a couple of days. So your wait will be from a couple of days to a couple of weeks.

Good luck!
