Timeline

I filed at the California Service Center in mid Oct I sent in my package. How long am I really looking at before it gets Approved or Denied? Please tell me in months people. THanks

what kind of visa you filed? i have a friend they have a spousal visa and the same center as u r it took them 7 months to get the approval of the petition and then u need to wait for the schedule for the medical and interview. It took 2 months for me to have my medical and interview after i know the schedule. For interview it will be one week after the medical schedule:-) hope it will helps u with ur quirries :dance:

Five or Six months for petition adjudication then two to four months more before interview.

Check the timelines or just fill in your own and it will give you a projected adjudication date based on the latest member reports.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Kind of hard to tell now since the fee change. Try looking at the thread for people who posted a month or two before you and see whats going on. If they've started seeing touches and approvals your about a month or so out.

Hopefully CSC is getting caught up with processing the "fee beaters" and get back to "normal".

One of the reasons given for fee increases was to speed up processing. Sure didn't happen and went the other way for awhile.

"Maybe" they will in the near future.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship
