Do I need a Wedding Invitation Card and Travel Itinerary for my K1 visa interview?

Do they ever ask about them?

I am thinking of traveling as soon as I receive my visa. There is a column in one of the forms that asks ... "when do you intend to travel to the US"? Can I just put any tentative date or does that have to be the exact date of my travel?

Thanks!

I believe you won't need to have a wedding invitation to prove that you will marry your fiance (petitioner) when you get here in US, that's the purpose of Letter of Intent to Marry. As for the travel itinerary, it's not necessary too. You can put "as soon as I received the visa" in the column where it asks "When do you intend to travel to the US?"

Goodluck on your interview!

No, you don't need a wedding invitation or travel itinerary for the K1 interview, most people didn't have that. We didn't have those items either  and we got improved fine!

You can just put any tentative "travel to USA" date on the forms. I think we just left it blank. I don't think they pay much attention to it so don't worry! Good luck with a fast successful visa journey!

You don't need one. basically the updated letter from your fiance to the consulate when you go to the interview, reaffirming the relationship and both of you plan to marry within 90 days once you reach the states.

Gone but not Forgotten!
