I called the USICS number today as I have not heard from them ( filed form I-29f form 9/24/07) they told me they could respond in up to 90 days.. which in essence means.. 9 months of waiting possibly for my love.. this is extremely draining for me.. thanks in advance

thank you thank you

Well you've come to the right place because we're all in the same boat. It's sad, and it's tough, but we all know what you're going through. Just try to focus on your relationship and your future. And have a virtual margarita on me. :) Best of luck to you and your fiance.

thank you thank you.. having that virtual margarita now...

Don't worry, We are right there with you, waiting for NOA1! We send our petition on sept 24th and it arrived on the 26th. Yeah, it's draining, but try not to think much of it. They are just starting to give september filers NOA1, starting at the end of the month it seems.

Be patient. You are in line and NOA1 date seems to have no effect on the NOA2 date.

They tell you 90 days but most are done quicker. Take a look at the Immigration Timelines at the top of the page. You might get a feeling of what to expect from your service center.
