Urge to Race

I hope you can add me to the list J , I have received (hard copy) my NOA2 dated Nov 20, with post mark 21st,

And I don't know why both my I-130 and I-129F NOA wording stated that they have been transferred to NVC!! Very different from G & A, I don't know why?

The embassy I am aiming for is Addis - Ethiopia

Thanks in advance

Also I have a question to ask everybody, in my I-130 and I-129F where it ask for my wife address abroad, I typed the home address, but I didn't list a valid mailing address, so I am wondering how they are going send her packet # 3, are they going to call her phone number I typed in the form? ...I don't know but I feel I made a dumb mistake, I didn't look head when I fill both forms.

Any one has answers or the same experience.

Thanks

From the limited postings of people on when they got their letters and when they found out it was sent onwards, I would say that it was sent on the 21st. When it comes to these petitions and dates and processing times and timelines, there are so many noses that are soooo long that plenty vertebrae are probably requiring severe medical attention.

one of the forms needed in the packet # 3 is: DS-156, this form has no PDF format to download, it's online-fill form now, does anyone has the PDF handy?

thanks

just click continue and it will create empty pdf form for you with the barcode on it.

Guys please note that if you are filling in these forms so that your SO can redo (rewrite for some I guess) the forms, the DS-156 must be done online and printed on letter size paper. Don't know if they use A4 paper where your SO's are (Ethopia, India), but that was an issue for us.

Also, the latest chart:

Did you try getting to the 3052. When I click the link off that page, it is not found.

just found out in k3 instruction package it says fill out ds-156 and ds-230 part 1. but on the following page: http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/k_visas.html#amc3

it says ds-156 and ds-3052.

I went through this also. After receiving the letter I called NVC again this morning and my package was actually received on the 16th. It appears NVC has a mis-information line too.

I would suggest using the transcripts. If the tax forms are used the Embassy/Consulate could ask to see the original w-2 forms. Also, the transcripts do not need to be notarized as they are from the IRS. Meaning the transcripts are legal documents.
