What is the weather like in the Canadian Maritimes in late May/early June?

Ok, just for the record, the Maritimes is comprised of three provinces (not one! :P ) -- PEI, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.

Late May / Early June is quite nice -- not horribly cold but not too warm either. It's a good time of year for spring blooms and such.

If you want, you can call for free travel guides and maps, etc: for example Nova Scotia's tourism # is 1-800-565-0000. Just call them up and they will send you a comprehensive guide for free. :)

If you want any additional information I can give you some websites and recommendations of things to do -- I used to work in visitor information centres and have travelled all over NS, most of NB and parts of PEI. :)

Newfoundland/Labrador is considered part of the Maritimes, yes. Nunavut is the most recent Canadian territory - composed of parts of the old Northwest Territories (which used to have two districts but is now just one district still called the Northwest Territories), and then Yukon Territory is separate.

The Maritimes are lovely and well worth visiting - there is lots to do and see and I agree, Atlantic Canada is definitely well worth including as one of the 50 must see places to visit. Weather will be Spring and cool to warm.

i thought is snowed year round in canada

 Nope. It does not snow all year round in Canada.

Maybe if you go to the biggest province of the country, it might. I forgot its name. =p

Territoire du Nord-Ouest.

Not sure on the english name.

North-West Territory?

That's a Crown Territory (similar to Union Territory in India, or Puerto Rico/Guam/Midway in US), not a province (state in either India or US).

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

FYI:

Atlantic provinces are Maritime provinces plus Newfoundland/Labrador

If I recall correctly, Newfounlanders get insulted being called Maritimers. :P

I don't know how it got started, probably because Newfoundland/Labrador took so long to become part of Canada. :P
