Can Child Support count as income for the sponsor? If so, what proof is required?

Or where can I find this info?

If you read through the instructions for Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support) you will see that Child Support can be claimed as Income.

Evidence of this could include (but not limited to): Tax return showing Child Support included in declared income, agreement or court order showing how much child support is due, etc.

Yes. I made copies of my child support order and also got a print out of payments made to my County Child Support Collection Agency.

Right. Sorry about that. I was thinking of alimony and not child support.
