 Ok here is the trailmix update haha

So brief overview for Husband's PR card sent to NVC so far:

- October 3rd - Sent PR card with DS-230 and checklist (missed it on my first checklist submission Sept 26th - where I made my own cover letter/barcode, using info from NVC operator)

- October 22nd - Sent PR copy via email per suggestion from NVC operator - they acknowledged my email today, by return email.

- October 26th - Sent 2nd checklist coversheet with copy of PR Card

So as mentioned, they acknowledged my email today AND I just got off the phone with NVC, they acknowledge they received the mail I sent them last Thursday - haven't looked at it yet of course.

The IVR still has the "on October 12th we sent you a checklist" blah blah blah

Soooo now I wait for them to actually look at it.

What I believe this means is, they completely disregarded the second set of documents I sent for the 1st checklist for the DS-230 (October 2nd). Instead they mailed me a checklist for the PR card based on my 1st response to the checklist.

Or, they just weren't looking. The operators tell me it says that they only received a DS-230 the second time I submitted items. The operator said sometimes they don't list everything received - that hasn't been my experience.

trailmix...

I'm experiencing the same thing with form I-184 because I forgot to include some of the documents that go with I-184... I sent them one day after (which actually they'll be there before form I-184 since I sent them using express mail) .... so u're saying that they will ignore the second form u sent in my case (I-184) and concentrate only in the first documents you sent which in my case are brith certificates....this is confusing, I don't know what they do with it though

and Nikkis congrats by the way :))

Yes, I guess that is what I am saying.

However! I don't think that is necessarily going to be true in your case. They may not have looked at mine properly, although I attached a copy of the PR card to the DS-230, second batch, maybe they didn't see it, maybe someone wasn't on the ball that day.

I think in your case where you are sending original documents (the PR card is just a photocopy) they will be more likely to look at it, if you know what I mean.

Good Luck!

P.S. The form you sent is probably actually the I-864 affidavit of support (instead of I-184) :)

You're almost there Trailmix  I think now it makes the most sense! The system wasn't ready to accept the second set of document you sent and therefore were ignored. Currently it is taking them 10 calendar days to review RFE's in particular, thus I would expect your case to get completed on or around 11/08 :pop:
