Quick Photo Questions for I-130 I-129f

So when you get your passport foto in the Us it's of course 2" x 2". Well my wife sent me her fotos and they are more like 1 3/4 x 2 1/4". I assume this is fine for the I-130 & I-129f because every other detail in the instructions is good with the fotos. And I assume they cut the fotos to there profile folder size anyways. But does anyone know if I will have a problem? She says that she doesn't know if she can get 2" x 2"

Also wondering if anyone has found out if it is ok to send both the I-130 & I-129f together now? Or was that just for August?

Muchos Gracias

Hi,

Your wife should ask for 50mm by 50mm passport or US Visa photos. Photo places all around the world are able to produce these.

Other Vjers have sent both together and both have been receipted, etc. So you should be ok.

Right, she'll need the 2X2 or 50mmX50mm photos for the interview but the ones you have will be fine for the petitions. Yes, you can send both petitions together since early July and forward. That way, your proof of filing I-130 is in the envelope with the I-129F.

However, with the new $1010 AOS fee you'll pay after K3 arrival, you'll want to take a hard look at skipping the I-129F altogether.
