Hey guys,

So finally after an RFE at the interview and a little over a month waiting for an answer we received an email last week letting us know that a notice had been mailed welcoming new resident. But the I-130 is still pending and untouched since may. Is that normal ?

04/19/07 - Touched AGAIN DAY 12

04/20/07 - Biometrics appt notice received (05-02-07) DAY 13

04/27/07 - I-130 Touched DAY 20

05/02/07 - Biometrics (Took us 8 minutes - no kidding) DAY 25

05/03/07 - I-485 Touched DAY 26

05/17/07 - Interview letter arrived (07-17-07) DAY 41

07/17/07 - Interview - Everything went well but received an RFE DAY 102

08/28/07 - RFE sent - Took a long time to get what they needed DAY 144

08/29/07 - RFE received - DAY 145

10/04/07 - Email: Notice welcoming new resident mailed - DAY 180

10/05/07 - Touched - DAY 181

10/09/07 - Welcome Notice received. - DAY 185

10/10/07 - Card production ordered. - DAY 186

10/17/07 - Green card received !!!!!!!! - Day 193

i never received any Approved on I-130 since i sent it, it's been more than 3 years and still pending! i have an interview for my I-485 so i hope everything will go smooth, this is a first time to see post like urs here, i mean to get approved on ur I-485 without I-130 been approved. to me it's kind strange.

but nothing impossible. tell me why did u got refuse and what a questions did u got !!

My N-400 timeline, I hope it will help - Local Office (Chula Vista Field Office - San Diego)

10/01/2010: Application was sent.

10/04/2010: Application was received.

10/06/2010: Email received "Application has been received" & Noticed Date.

10/07/2010: "Touch"

10/08/2010: "Touch" & Check was Cashed

10/09/2010: NOA1 Received via mail.

10/22/2010: Status Changed Online "Request for evidence" It was for Biometrics.

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

02/28/2011: Certificate Of Naturalization's Returned.

Game Over.

Once your Greencard is issued your on-kine status for your I-130 may change to approved or it may not... You should get an approval letter in the mail in the next few months for the I-130, it just take awhile for them to get everything sorted...

If you are approved at AOS interview then your I-130 is approved along with it.....

Our I-130 was approved at the same time as the I-485 online - but if the notice welcoming new resident has been mailed, I would not worry about it too much.

married: jan 5, 2007

noa 1: march 2nd, 2007

interview @ tampa, fl office: april 26, 2007

green card received: may 5, 2007

removal of conditions timeline:

03/26/2009 - received in VSC

07/20/2009 - card production ordered!

In my case I-485 interview happened before I -130 is approved and I am still waiting on my I-130 approval since the interview completed (02-2017) Priority date 2015.

Interview results say your case is been held for review and after that every call or appointment leads to only one answer Background check is happening  for I-130 sponsor.

 

Please help we have been waiting since feb 2017 interview.
