Hello all I received my NOA on June 19th, I have heard nothing since. How do I know if it has been touched? The USIS web site says the same thing petition received June 19th. It is at the CSC.

Anyone else who filed at the same time received their NOA2. It has been 107 days what gives? How do I know if it has been touched? Does calling help? My lawyer said they stop receiving calls because of the backlog, this is very sad.

nothing gives.. touches typically don't occur until your file is being looked at... since CSC appears to be running 140 days+/- you may still have some time yet to wait before your file makes it to the top of the pile

For CSC it's looking like 5+ months between NOA1 and NOA2. Please fill in your timeline so you can get a better idea of when to expect an approval. It also helps the rest of us out. :)

There are still a few may filers that haven't received their NOA2, I suggest you check the timelines that are similar to yours to have an idea when you'll be approved.

Also, the adjudication date that appears below your timeline here in VJ can give you an idea of how long you'll be waiting. But as moxcamel said you need to :time:

In our case, we didn't have any touches until the day we were approved.

We have the same 1NOA date. In one fashion or another I have been involved with K-1 / marriage based type visas since 2000,let me give you the best advise on visas. There is no logic, it is not first in first out you are dealing with a government. Although we have the same 1 NOA date , one of us may be approved weeks or months before the other. The old INS now USCIS has always been behind, over worked, under paid, over stressed or what ever the excuse of the day is. One service center sometimes processes the same petition months faster than other. You can live in one state and your buddy in another and he gets his approval 2 months before you. I know it's hard to do but try to forget it, when it happens it happens and there's not much you can do. If all goes well we should get our 2NOA in November-December.

Hola SLDAVY,

Forgive me...I am a little confused. Your timeline says you sent your petition on 6/6/2007 and your NOA-1 was issued on July 19th. Which was it...June 19th or July 19th? IF you signed up for automatic updates on the USCIS website, you will receive an e-mail notice from "CRIS" advising that your file has been "touched." Don't get uptight about whether your file is touched or not. Some files are not touched at all and the next thing you know...NOA-2 arrives!!

If your date is correct at June 19th, you are just a few days behind Karina and I. Calling does NOT help!! The petitions are processed in the order received. You will ge the same response..."It is taking up to 6 months for petitions to be processed!" You have a lawyer working on this with you? Interesting...

Best Wishes,

Craig
