Thanks to the Congressman from the State of North Dakota and my persistence with him, we now have a case number for our visa petition, and the Embassy in Manila will soon be receiving the petition paperwork from the National Visa Center.

My petition was stuck at NVC too. It took 29 days from NOA2 for them to receive and process. Was sent to Manila on 19 Sep. As of 02 Oct still no interview date in Manila.

Sorry to hear that... I know if I would not have contacted my congressman, it would be stuck at NVC too, but I am not a patient one! Thats why I am glad I contacted my congressman... it really does make a difference... What I have been trying to accomplish in 4 weeks, he got done in 2 days!

That's nothing. Try over 7 weeks from NOA2 to being sent out from NVC.

Congressional didn't help much either, DOS will send when they're finished with it. Very, Very, frustrating for us. I'm just thankful it's out of there.
