Green Card --- Residential Date on greencard is incorrect

dear all my VJ friends,

I have a question for my wife's green card.

The date she entered U.S is April 22, 2005. The date she got her green card with two years conditional is February 09, 2006

On her greencard, it says "Resident Since 02/09/2006". It means my wife has to wait one more year longer to take the U.S citizenship test.

Can anyone confirm the dates for me please, which one is correct. Should it be on green card as "Resident Since 04/22/2005" or "Resident Since 02/09/2006" ?

thanks. appreciated your help!

she has only been a permanent resident since February 09, 2006... so you count from that date...

she will have to file a form to remove the conditions on the card at the end of this year....

Tim, just to clarify, your wife came in on a K1 visa. She did not become a legal permanent resident at the time of her entry. Her LPR status only started when her AOS was approved and her GC was issued. Hence, her Resident Since date is 02/09/2006 and not her date of entry.
