Because they don't process I-130 petitions at the Nebraska Service Center anymore. If you sent yours there, it was transferred to California or Vermont, depending on your State.

in my another post the were telling me that there is no transfer

I believe in your answer since there is no processing time for I-130 for NSC

when they received my application on 8-20 what do you thing when will tha application be tfansferre to california?

do I have to look at update from their site (update for other visas)?? which says that they did processing up to 8-5-07

that means I hvae to wait until they open my envelope which they got on 8-20 and then they gonna send to california

and because they are behind too that means it might be somewhere in october when thwy strat mt application

am I right?

Yes, well except you sent a petition, not an application. Also, I think what you are referring to as "starting" is really just sending you a receipt and putting your petition in queue. They probably won't actually begin the adjudication process until sometime later.
