Hello, we have been home in the U.S. for almost 3 weeks, and are begining to prepare for the CR-1/IR-1 interview. We are still waiting for the I-824 to be approved, so our approved I-130 will be sent to the NVC.

Does anyone know wether the GUZ # will be the same for the CR-1/IR-1 as it was for the K-3?

What is the e-mail address for the DS-3032?

Will they send I-864 and I-864EZ, or do I need to ask for the I-864EZ when I pay the processing fee?

Do you think we will be able to wait to complete the CR-1/IR-1 process after our second wedding anniversary(Oct. 28,2008), or should we try to get the CR-1 as quickly as possible?

Thanks, Mike & Zhen

Go for the CR ASAP. Unless you apply for a EAD your wife won't be able to get a SSN until she has the CR visa.

It can be a pain not having one.

I-864 and I-864EZ aren't that much difference so I'd just stick with the I-864 and don't cause more confusion.

Don't know what a GUZ # is.

If it's A# they will be different as they are completely different visas.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

A# will be the same because we are dealing with the SAME Alien. GUZ# (Guangzhou the consulate in China) is the case number assigned by NVC to the petition, in your case NVC will treat this as a separate petition from the K-3, and assign a new GUZ# Number.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
